Like you, I love aviation. It’s a huge part of my life. So, as a pilot, I gravitate toward wanting to wear aviation apparel. However, most of the stuff out there is just so cringy. There’s no way I’ll wear a shirt with some 747 across the back and definitely not ever wearing a VFR sectional print. I’m an avgeek but not nerdy about it. I could rarely find anything I would be comfortable with wearing. When I did find something wearable, it was because it was a very basic minimalist aviation design, but quality often was lacking, prices were way too high, and variety was non-existent. I stopped looking around for aviation apparel and started making my own designs to put them on shirts, coffee mugs and hangar flags occasionally. This brand started just for my personal use but after meeting other pilots that got a kick out of my designs, I figured there were many other pilots, or aviation enthusiasts, like myself trying to get away from lame aviation apparel. The clothing we use has to meet the standards of comfortable, soft, durable (shirt material and printed design), with minimal to no shrinking after wash. This means we’re using high quality materials to ensure they meet these simple yet necessary standards. For some of the designs, I incorporate my sense of humor into nearly every aspect of my life and you’ll see that this brand is no exception. Other designs are very simple and what you’d find me wearing on a daily basis.
